At True North Eavestroughing we don’t only work on residential homes but we also do commercial eavestroughing installation as well. And this is a job we recently did for the Durham Rowing Club on the shores of beautiful Lake Scugog in Port Perry.
We installed 5 inch steel gutters with heavy-duty brackets and strapped them back to the roof line, all along the front of their buidling. We only use steel gutters when there is a steel roof involved. These offer greater protection against snow and ice during the winter as they prevent any ice build up.

They recently had work done on the front of their building, but neglected to get eavestroughs initially. The water was coming down the valleys and washing out the foundation. We were called in to install new eavestroughs and downpipes to prevent any further damage to the foundation and washing out the gravel at the front of the property. We really appreciate the work. Thanks DRC!
Remember, if you’re going to go with a steel roof you should also be looking to get steel gutters and snow guards installed as well. You’ll be happy you did.
