As you can see, this house in Brooklin has two major valleys and both valleys happen to be at the front of the home – one upper and one lower.
We added splash guards on the trough at the bottom of the valleys. This prevents the water from shooting over the gutters. Some are larger, some are smaller. It all depends on the severity of the valleys. (Side note: there is no problems with the splash guards in the winter time.) We install these on all homes at no extra charge. Part of our quality process.
There was so much water coming down in this area that we added another 3” x 3” downpipe to increase the water diversion.
