I always tell people to clean your gutters and prune your trees because this has a direct effect on your eavestroughing and and the way the water flows. As you can see in these pictures, the customer never had their eavestroughs cleaned or pruned their tree as it had been growing inside the trough. Now this took several years to get this way, and it’s one of the worst situations I have ever seen!
I just took these photos and wanted to share them with you ASAP!
The tree was starting to grow into the outside of the fascia, as well as into the soffit!
When I explained to the customer that we would have to cut the tree down so that we could install new soffit and fascia, they asked why? LOL!
Moral of the story: Take care of your home and have regular maintenance done on your eavestroughing. It costs quite a bit of money to get new gutters, soffit and fascia installed on your home. Take care of it! Maintenance is the key point to keep your gutters functioning properly. True North can help with these types of repairs and servicing.
Take care!
As always, at True North Eavestroughing, quality is our priority!
